While on patrol, the Sun Bear Station (Veal Pi) rangers ambushed a boat carrying rosewood. One man was arrested. The boat and timber were confiscated. Four of the men jumped ship and swam across the river. Rosewood is the world’s most trafficked wild product, used for luxury furniture.
